Below is a list of websites and thier definitions to help you in choosing what category your website best fits into. Please be absoultely sure what category your choosing. We will change any we feel do not fall into the category you chose, make it simplier for both of us and read over the list and thier definitions so we can list you as soon as possible. If for some reason you feel there is a category missing please use the contact form here and let us know and we will be happy to add it.

  • Adoptions: Anything adoptable, from celebrities, songs, albums, websites, animals, graphics, absolutely anything adoptable.
  • Anime: Any anime related websites, the website must always be anime related, if it's a blog it does not go here.
  • Anime Fanlistings: A network site (or link directory) for anime and manga related fanlistings Anime Fanlistings do not need to be approved by Animelistings.org.
  • Awards: A website that allows you to be nominated into a contest, awards are given out and judging is held for any particular category from layouts, to graphics.
  • Blogs: Sites that ONLY have a blog, any content added will place your submission in the personal website category. Blogs can be hosted on free servers such as blogger. Websites using services such as Blurty, Livejournal, Tabulas or Diaryland or others like it will also be added to this category.
  • Challenges: Challenges of all types, anywhere from avatars, blends, banners, graphics, wallpapers, any type.
  • Cliques: Groups of people that come together that share an interest or subject, and are able to join.
  • Collectives: These types of sites are made to show a collection of websites one has made. It will list all the websites, descriptions and other information pertaining to each website they own.
  • Design/Graphics: Websites offering designing services, including free layouts, avatars, icons, buttons, banners, any type of graphic that can be ordered and designed by the owner or staff on that site.
  • Domains: Only real domains that are purchased will be allowed, such as .com, .net, .org, .nu etc. Commercial sites are not allowed, any submissions will not be listed.
  • Fanlistings: A fanlisting is a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject. Fanlistings do not need to be approved by thefanlistings.org.
  • Fansites: Are similar to Fanlistings, these sites are mainly dedicate to an actor/actress, movie, song, band, type of tv show and the similar. These sites usually have images, interactive media, all types of information about the subject. Majority of fansites are not affilated with the subject theme and are created by a fan or fans as a source of information about the subject of the fansite.
  • Forums: Forums and message boards. Includes YaBB, phpBB, and InvisionBoard sites. Forums and message boards on a free server are also accepted.
  • Hatelistings: A complete opposite of fanlistings sites. Hatelisting do not need to be approved by hatelistings.net.
  • Languages: Non-English websites only will be listed under this category.
  • Listings: A site much like this one.
  • Miscellaneous: All websites that do not fit into any other category will be placed here, some such as Gaming, Hosting, Brushes, Fonts, Galleries, etc.
  • Namelistings: A list of people who like or have a name in common. Much like a fanlisting. Namelistings do not need to be approved by thenamelistings.org.
  • Numberlistings: A list of people who are fans of a particular number. Much like a fanlisting. Numberlistings do not need to be approved by thenumberlistings.org.
  • Personal: These sites are about the owner of the site, which can include a blog, content for visitors, posting of pictures.
  • Portals: Any type of Webcam Portal will be accepted into this category. It can be people or pets.
  • Portfolios: Sites mainly put together to show off the work one has done, it can have Graphics, show off html skills, writings one has done.
  • PSDs: PSD websites.
  • Physical Fanlisting: A listing for that of a particular famous person or fictional character that you think has a good physical quality. Physical Fanlistings do not need to be approved by thephysicalfanlistings.org.
  • Reviews: A website created for the purpose of reviewing websites, books, movies, anything that anyone can request a review of.
  • RPGs: Role-playing games websites.
  • Rotations/Exchanges: Button or Banner rotation/exchanges will allow a member to join, and be placed on a rotation where thier image will appear randomly along with other members, this enables members to get more traffic.
  • Scans: Any and all Scan websites.
  • Topsites: Sites listing the top 10, 20, 50, etc that will increase your hits.
  • TCGs: Trading card websites.
  • Tutorials: Websites having only tutorials as the content.
  • Webrings: A list of sites with a common interest and all joined through Ringsurf. Sites will all display a code that looks similar to: « # webring ? »
  • Webzines: Online magazines of different subjects, run a lot like real magazines.
  • Writings: These sites maily have some sort of collection of writings, such as poetry, short stories, etc.
